Returns & Store Credit

We offer a 30-day store credit guarantee for unopened, sealed products. Due to food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns of any opened or used teas (loose-leaf tins or matcha tins). If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us at mgmt@kwanzaachai.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and product details. For eligible items (unopened, in original packaging), we will issue a 100% store credit via a unique code, valid for 1 year on all Kwanzaa! products. Please do not ship items back, as we cannot process physical returns.


Damaged or Defective Items


If your order arrives with broken seals, damaged packaging (crushed/leaking), or incorrect items, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at mgmt@kwanzaachai.com. Include photos of the issue for verification. If confirmed, we will replace the item or issue a full refund to your original payment method at your discretion.
Exceptions
Opened or used teas cannot be returned or refunded due to health regulations. Gift cards and final sale items (e.g., clearance products) are ineligible for store credit or refunds.

 


European Union Customers


If your order is shipped to the EU, you may request store credit within 14 days of delivery for unopened, sealed products following the same process above. This complies with the EU cooling-off period while respecting food safety laws.

 

Why This Policy?


We prioritize food safety, sustainability, and farmer fairness. Sealed consumables cannot be resold, and minimizing returns ensures more resources support our Kenyan farming partners. We stand behind our tea’s quality. If it disappoints, we will make it right through store credit.
